Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Cashbook Controller to join our high-volume, fast paced Finance Shared Services team. This role is critical in ensuring:

Analyse and reconcile bank statements on a daily and monthly basis
Reconcile and analyse bank cashbooks
Clear cash suspense accounts timeously
Reconcile and balance sub ledgers
Assist with monthly bank reconciliations
Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and audit requirements

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting or related field
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Cashbook Controller or similar finance role

Skills

Experience in high volume transactional environment
Strong reconciliation experience
SYSPRO experience a (ESSENTIAL)
Must come from a RETAIL or FMCG background
Advanced Excel skills required V-Lookup & Pivots a MUST
Strong attention to detail
Excellent time management
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Good communication skills with the ability to engage across finance teams
