R 15 000 - R 55 000 CTC (depending on experience)

Our client in the agricultural engineering industry is seeking an Irrigation Designer to join their team and help drive smooth and efficient operations.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Matric
• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Agriculture; SABI courses will be a plus
• Experience with SOM Reach RS3/RS2+ surveying kit will be advantageous
• Proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D and MS Office (Excel emphasis)
• Civil Designer experience, specifically in surveying, terrain, and water
• Valid Code B or higher driver’s license
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans (including report writing)

• Design of drip, micro, and pivot irrigation systems
• Design of pump stations, steel structures, and piping systems
• Conduct site inspections and surveys
• Compile schedules of quantities
• Liaise with clients to ensure efficient designs that meet project goals
