In this  field-based role, you will consult to optimise irrigation scheduling, improve water-use efficiency, and enhance crop performance using cutting-edge precision agriculture technologies. You''''ll combine technical expertise with practical advisory support, helping farmers turn data into better decisions and improved yields.

Duties

• Analyse soil moisture, crop, and weather data to provide irrigation recommendations.

• Install, maintain, and support soil moisture probes and weather stations.

• Assist producers in adopting and maximising precision irrigation technologies.

• Conduct soil sampling and collect field data to support precision farming initiatives.

• Build strong relationships with producers through ongoing technical support and advice.

• Identify opportunities to expand AgTech solutions and contribute to business growth.

• Stay at the forefront of agricultural innovation and emerging technologies.

What We''''re Looking For

• Grade 12 (Matric).

• 1–3 years'''' experience in agriculture (essential).

• Experience with irrigation systems, soil moisture monitoring, or precision farming will be advantageous.

• Diploma or degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Irrigation Technology, Precision Agriculture, or a related field will be beneficial.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Valid driver''''s licence and willingness to travel extensively.
