Invoicing Clerk

SUMMARY:
Invoicing Clerk - George

National company in George is on a recruitment drive for an invoicing clerk to join their financial department. 

Duties and Responsibilities include: -

• Ensure that the load plan is downloaded at the beginning of each shift
• Review all orders in detail
• Ensure thorough knowledge of all "hold" instructions and be aware when that instruction changes as updated by the accounts departments
• Where required, check prices for accuracy and uploaded pricing list under instruction of debtors' controller / accounts department (Syspro)
• On receipt of pick slip, compare to order: focusing on pricing and compliance (signatures correct and adequate - scan and save as per department procedures
• Verify all information on despatch note on Syspro; compare to pick slip and refer to administrative clerks of warehousing department if necessary
• Print invoices as required
• Maintain an effective filing system for all documentation required in the Debtors process
• Ensure correct bundle of documentation is printed, and ready to be sent for filing
• Download report of all processed invoices and file accordingly
• On request, prepare information as required for credit notes received
• Show team-player behaviour

POSITION INFO:
Qualifications and Experience:

• Grade 12 with accounting or NQF 4 certificate
• Computer literate - MS Office Suite - Syspro advantageous
• 2 years' experience in an administrative and accounting environment
• Exposure to warehouse management would be advantageous

• Good communication skills with the ability to work with a team to achieve objectives
• Sound and proven skills in Planning, Organizing, Monitoring
• Accurate and detailed orientated
• Deadline driven and able to work under pressure
