Job Description:

The successful candidate will support the investment team in evaluating new investment opportunities, conducting financial analysis, performing due diligence, and preparing investment recommendations. You will analyse financial information, assess risks and opportunities, build valuation models, monitor market developments, and contribute to investment reports and presentations. The role offers broad exposure to the full investment lifecycle and provides the opportunity to work on projects that contribute to economic growth and development.
 

Skills & Experience:

• Conduct financial and commercial due diligence on potential investments
• Analyse financial statements, business models, and investment opportunities
• Prepare investment papers, reports, and recommendations
• Develop financial models and perform investment valuations
• Monitor market trends, industry developments, and emerging opportunities
• Assess investment risks and provide analytical insights
• Prepare investor reports, presentations, and supporting documentation
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders throughout transaction processes
• Support compliance and reporting requirements
• Assist with transaction execution and post-investment monitoring
• Strong financial analysis and modelling skills
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
• Willingness to travel when required

• BCom Finance, BSc Actuarial Science or BSc Engineering degree
