Inverter Sales (Cape Town)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The sales incumbent is the person in charge of managing a company''s relationships with its customers. They are in charge of developing new market, new customers, and building long-term relationships with a group of customers and generally stay with customers for the length of their relationship with the company. The goal is to keep clients or accounts as long as possible. Will be in charge of finding new business; be assigned prospects, given accounts, or a combination thereof. Tasks may involve project management, strategic planning, sales support, product design, service application, logistics, and marketing.

 

Responsibilities:

Establishing new business and promotion of Inverter Sales.
Able to independently design and write project plans and project proposals, and have the ability to explain plans and presentations to users.
Ability to independently write presentations.
Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers.
Help customers through email, phone, online presentations, screen-share and in person meetings.
Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
Forecast and track key account metrics.
ØEnhance department and organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
Exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis.
Monitor and analyze customer’s usage of our product.
Responsible for working with the Sales team to onboard and integrate new clients and developing existing client relationships.
Liaise between the customer and internal teams.
 

Educational Background:

Degree in Electrical, Sales, or Business Management
Matric.
 

Work Experience:

3 Years working experience in the solar industry, as a sales engineer or in sales.
