SUMMARY:
RAW MATERIALS INVENTORY CLERK (FMCG)
KZN PIETERMARITZBURG
The main purpose of this job is to act as an administration support system to the other departments and to ensure that the information is received, captured, and distributed correctly.
Qualifications:

Matric (Grade 12 Certificate)

Legal requirements:

Possession of a valid Code 08/EB drivers license

Experience:

3 Years’ experience in a similar position
Experience in data capturing and stock control
Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook

Administration and Coordination of Weighbridge items

Ensure to verify and check that all documents received corresponds to the access control register/ sheet on a daily basis.
Ensure all supporting documents are scanned and attached with every POR generated.
Liaise with the purchasing department monthly to close all open purchase orders
Ensure to do a daily check in the Stores cage of what has been taken and ensure that it is recorded on a daily basis at the end of every day.
Ensure that the FIFO (First In First Out) rule is applied by all staff in with all Raw Material as well.
Ensure that all Paperwork is up to date for the Warehouse Controller

General Administration

Ensure to stand in as a relief for staff in the Inventory office
Deal with queries relating to POR’s in conjunction with Inventory Coordinator
