SUMMARY:
Have you had extensive Customer Liaison and Administration experience dealing with customers internationally and in Africa?

An understanding and ability to speak French will be beneficial.
Use your excellent organisation skills to join our International Clients business dealing with inventory orders and Client requirements managing the full process of transactions from beginning to end. 
This position will be at their Cape Town office based in Paarden Eiland.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

REQUIREMENTS
  • Matric, relevant qualifications advantageous
  • English (written and spoken), French highly advantageous
  • SAP modules SD, CRM & Microsoft Office basic knowledge
  • Foreign trade knowledge
  • Systematic and independent way of working
  • Willingness to take responsibility
  • Intercultural understanding with excellent communication skills
  • Successful team player
  • Must be able to travel Internationally and have a valid passport
 
DUTIES
  • Manage the active sales of spare parts
  • Preparing and actively approaching the customer to achieve order intake (beyond following up on offers)
  • Dealing with enquiries, providing quotations, ensure shipping is taken care of and delivery is successful
  • Extensive Customer liaison and support
  • Support the Sales Manager and services
  • Input on operational issues during contract negotiations
  • Regular exchange on current topics and strategies for customer development
  • Main local contact person for the customers
  • Taking care of all concerns raised by the customer in the spare parts area and steering them into the organisation if he/she cannot answer them himself/herself
  • Manage the quotation processing tracking
  • Prepare SAP quotation following the guide to Consular and Import Documentation requirements
  • Preparing proforma in cooperation with warehouse and shipping
  • Clarification of commercial framework conditions (terms of delivery and payment conditions)
  • Determination of SAP ID numbers using match codes
  • Submitting technical queries via ticket system to the technical clarification team and clarifying queries with the customer
  • Clarify the handling of dangerous goods in quotations in cooperation with shipping department.
  • Clarification of overdue receivables with the customer
  • Important to aim to have no overdue receivables in customer accounts
 
Salary: R30 – R35k including benefits dependent on experience
