SUMMARY:
Our National Client, a specialist in sales of fireplaces requires an energetic, vibrant salesperson to join their team in Hermanus to grow their sales.
If you have not sold fireplaces then experience in related home finishes product like flooring, air-conditioning, roofing materials, paints, sanitary ware, or similar industries will also work!
This position will include going out to clients in order to bring in business opportunities.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

REQUIREMENTS

Matric, relevant qualifications advantageous
Candidates with experience in the fireplaces or heating industry is a primary choice
As an alternative a salesperson with experience in related home finishes (e.g., flooring, air- conditioning, roofing materials, paints, sanitary ware and similar industries could also be suitable)
A proven sales track record is imperative
Be naturally technically minded (know how to measure plans and knows their way around a building site)
Must also be motivated to go out and look for business opportunities

DUTIES

Meet and greet customers and deal with their enquiries both face to face and telephonically and via email
Understand customer needs and requirements and provide recommendations
Call on a client for a new business opportunity
Measure plans or go to a building site to ensure correct measurements are obtained for the sale
Negotiating of sales and closing of sales deals
Manage and process orders
Manage invoicing process
Achieve monthly targets
Assist with stock and stock taking when required
Assist in any area of the company when somebody needs assistance to grow skills within the business
General administration duties required

Hours of work in Store:

Mon – Thursday 7.30 - 5pm
Friday 7.30 - 5pm
Saturday 9am - 1pm - rotational

Salary: R15 000 + commission structure based on sales performance
