Internal Sales Clerk - Engineering /Mining

POSITION INFO:
Essential Experience:

• Minimum 2 years in internal sales, preferably in Engineering / Mining Industry
• SAGE Software is beneficial
• Fast Pace Environment background

• Handle inbound sales calls, emails, and walk-in customer inquiries.
• Provide accurate information about products, pricing, and availability.
• Generate quotations and sales orders.
• Process customer orders and coordinate with logistics/warehouse to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain and update customer records in the sales system.
• Follow up on outstanding quotations and ensure a high conversion rate.
• Support external sales representatives with administrative tasks.
• Monitor stock levels and liaise with the procurement team on backorders.
• Assist in resolving customer complaints or issues promptly.
• Prepare and send out invoices, delivery notes, and other sales-related documentation.

• Education: Grade 12 / Matric certificate (required). Post-matric qualification in sales or business administration is advantageous.
