Job Position: Internal Sales Assistant

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Minimum of Matric
  • Minimum of 1 years relevant experience
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (Word / Excel / PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Goal-driven and excellent team player
  • Time management skills and ability to multi-task
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key Performance Areas:

  • Receiving, analyzing, and sending of emails
  • Order taking via email / telephone, providing customer with an order reference number to confirm order placement
  • Loading orders onto QuickBooks
  • Provide cash before delivery customers with estimates / proforma invoices
  • Follow up on payment
  • Ensure client’s account is up to date and ensure terms and limits are not exceeded
  • Place overdue term-account orders on hold, manually
  • Sales reports
  • Data capturing
  • Attend to customer account and pre-delivery queries
  • Customer courtesy calls
