JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Position: Internal Sales Assistant

Location: Port Elizabeth (Markman)
Salary: commensurate with experience and qualification

Qualifications / Requirements:

Minimum of Matric
Minimum of 1 years relevant experience
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (Word / Excel / PowerPoint)
Excellent communication skills
Goal-driven and excellent team player
Time management skills and ability to multi-task
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key Performance Areas:

Receiving, analyzing, and sending of emails
Order taking via email / telephone, providing customer with an order reference number to confirm order placement
Loading orders onto QuickBooks
Provide cash before delivery customers with estimates / proforma invoices
Follow up on payment
Ensure client’s account is up to date and ensure terms and limits are not exceeded
Place overdue term-account orders on hold, manually
Sales reports
Data capturing
Attend to customer account and pre-delivery queries
Customer courtesy calls
