SUMMARY:
A well-known specialised Spice Blending Manufacturer requires the above to provide commercial and operations support to the manufacturing and sales teams by coordinating, liaising with Customers and colleagues and handling all key internal sales administrational responsibilities for the Company ensuring that Customers’ expectations are met.

JOB DESCRIPTION:


Minimum requirements for the role:
  • Previous internal sales experience having worked within the spice blend, food ingredient and related industry
  • The successful candidate must have attention to detail and be highly organised.
  • Must be computer literate with good Excel spreadsheet skills capabilities as well as previous experience working on a CRM system.
  • The successful candidate should be customer orientated, passionate and dedicated to working with Customers.
  • The successful candidate must be a team player and be able to work independently, but also in a team.
  • The successful candidate should have good communication skills, both written and verbally.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Receiving, processing, and monitoring of all Customer orders and manufacturing orders.
  • Capturing sales orders and following up on deliveries, as well as following up on daily reports for stock and deliveries.
  • Defining and maintaining accurate Customer and product data on the Company’s ERP system.
  • Liaising and assisting Customers with orders, back-orders queries and following up, both on email and telephonically.
  • Liaising with warehouse to track Client order completion.
  • Liaising with Customers and internal and external staff on a daily basis to update them on the progress of orders and to make sure Customer requirements are met.
  • Responding, within the shortest possible time, to Customer queries and requests.
  • Liaising with the production planning and warehousing regarding any queries and costing on products related to stock holding. 
  • Ensuring that all Customer complaints, issues, and queries reach a successful and appropriate conclusion, including account queries.
  • Updating Customers on shipment details on a regular basis, as well as following up on documentation from overseas Suppliers. 
Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
