Internal Sales Administrator - Manufacturing - PTA

SUMMARY:
A well-established international chemical raw material company supplying the manufacturing industry requires the above to assist the MD and sales team in terms of all admin and sales/logistics support.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements for the role:

• Minimum matric is essential for this role.
• Previous experience having worked as an internal sales/customer services administrator within the manufacturing or distribution or related industries where you have worked with stock is essential.
• The successful candidate must be computer literate with good Excel experience and ideally have experience working with Sage or SAP or a related ERP System is preferred.
• The successful candidate must have good PowerPoint experience to be able to present reports and various sales figures and graphs.
• Previous experience having worked on sage or Pastel or a related system is preferred but not essential.
• The successful candidate must have good people skills as they will be liaising with customers at all levels.
• The successful candidate must be self-motivated and be able to work independently or in a team.

• Assisting the MD and sales team supporting them with all administration and sales/logistics etc.
• Receiving and processing local and international orders on SAP ensuring customer delivery expectations are met.
• Ensuring external Key Account Managers are kept informed of any developments that are relevant to their customers.
• Attending weekly divisional meetings.
• Ensuring that all customer complaints, issues and queries are dealt with timeously.
• Assisting with quotations and monthly pricing.
• Communicating with customers with regard to order status, stock availability pricing etc.
• Liaising with transport companies on export orders internationally.
• Processing invoices and compiling customer quotes.
• Liaising with the warehouse regarding the delivery of raw materials to clients.
