The Internal Sales Administrator plays a vital role in supporting their team and ensuring customers receive outstanding service from enquiry through to delivery.
This position requires someone who is highly organised, enjoys working with people, has strong administrative abilities, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is essential.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Relevant qualification in Sales, Business Administration or Customer Service will be advantageous.
• Experience in an Internal Sales or Sales Administration role will be advantageous.
• Previous experience within the aluminium, hardware, building materials, manufacturing or construction industry will be advantageous.
• Computer literate with strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook and Word).
• Experience working on an ERP system

• Assist walk-in, telephonic and email customers professionally.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Provide product information and technical guidance where applicable.
• Resolve customer queries efficiently.

• Prepare quotations accurately and timeously.
• Process customer sales orders.
• Follow up on outstanding quotations.
• Convert enquiries into sales opportunities.
• Ensure all customer information is accurately maintained.

• Capture sales orders on the ERP system.
• Verify pricing and product availability.
• Coordinate with production and warehouse regarding order status.
• Keep customers informed regarding lead times and deliveries.

• Prepare invoices and supporting documentation.
• Maintain customer files and records.
• Assist with filing and general office administration.
• Compile reports as required.

• Liaise with warehouse regarding stock availability.
• Coordinate customer collections.
• Assist in arranging deliveries where required.
• Monitor back orders and communicate expected delivery dates.

• Support the external sales representatives.
• Work closely with production, procurement and dispatch.
• Assist with month-end sales administration.
• Contribute to achieving departmental sales targets.
