SUMMARY:
Our client, a manufacturer, supplier and installer of specialist equipment is looking for an Internal Sales Assistant to join their team. Added duties for this role will include providing personal assistance to the Managers as well as marketing. This position will be based in Midrand.

POSITION INFO:

Job Description:

The main purpose of this role will be to liaise with customers in order to ensure that all transactions take place smoothly. Administrative assistance to the Managers and marketing will also form part of the daily duties.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Liaising with customers with regards to sales transactions
Assist customer to choose between the company’s goods and services
Process payments
Keeping the tracker system up to date
All administrative duties required in order to process internal sales
Reading, monitoring and responding to the Manager’s emails
Answering calls and assisting clients
Drafting of correspondence
Planning and organising meetings and events
Meeting minutes (taking, acting points, typing and distribution)
Conducting research and preparing presentations
Sourcing and ordering stationery and office equipment
Managing ad hoc projects
Communicating the company’s product policy with customers in order to generate hype in the market

Educational Requirements:
Grade 12

Experience and Skills Required:

2 – 3 years’ experience in an administrative role
Strong administrative skills
High level of attention to detail
Computer literate

Excellent communication skills
