Internal Project Coordinator (Instrumentation, Valves)

Location: Kempton park

Salary R30 000 – R40 000CTC

• A young and driven individual who is seeking a new challenging career in the petrochemical, valve, instrumentation and automation sales market in SA. 
• Dedicated and hardworking individual who is willing to give his/her best at all times to benefit the company.
• Position is specific to technical sales (a technical background would be preferable) 
• Candidate will need to understand a basic mechanical layout drawing – an advantage o Need to continuously expand product knowledge
• Have a general understanding of electrical and mechanical systems – an advantage
• Have a passion for Admin related activities like data books and quality documents
• Must be able to co-ordinate a project from beginning to end and be able to work under pressure
• Need to be computer literate and efficient in Microsoft Word / Excel / Office 
• Must have general understanding of petroleum, instrumentation and valve industry
• Sales background with track record is an advantage.
• Must be a self-starter (go getter).
• Must have own reliable transport
• Any sales or technical qualification is an advantage and should be highlighted 

Duties will include: 

• Ensure that key customers are comprehensively serviced with quotes and projects are managed in the correct way
• Keep management informed of market changes and trends, which may affect our business, especially with regard to our competitors, product solutions and market trends
• Making sure that the customer receives appropriate feedback and that a professional customer experience is maintained at all times
• Ensure that the company is included in all tenders and that customer vendors lists are continuously updated to include the company
• Assist in receiving, compiling and submitting tenders . Ensuring that tenders are submitted by the due date
• Analysing project contracts / terms and conditions received with enquiries to ensure we comply 
•  Liaising with relevant divisions on a continuous basis for projects
• Expediting of the project order (placing orders, price checking, handling of inspections, checking packaging, deliveries and invoicing)
