POSITION INFO:

The KayDav Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Internal Auditor to join our team. The successful candidate will perform audit functions for the entire KayDav Group and report to the Group Internal Audit Manager. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Perform audit functions for the entire KayDav Group.
• Review, test, and develop internal controls, suggesting improvements.
• Conduct standard stock checks at all allocated branches.
• Provide directors with assurance on the effective functioning of all relevant controls for the business.
• Identify and manage risks.
• Document and review business processes and internal controls. 

Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: Matric certificate and a Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Internal Audit.
• Professional Experience: Completed Articles with 3-5 years of experience in external/internal audit (preferably).
• Technical Skills: Advanced MS Excel skills, proficiency in MS Office, and knowledge of accounting packages (Pastel, SAGE People/VIP).
• Accounting Knowledge: Advanced accounting and financial reporting knowledge, PAYE knowledge, and general administrative knowledge.
• Industry Experience: Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules, and regulations, with experience in audit and accounting (retail industry experience is an advantage).
