Company in Waterfall Park Gauteng is urgently looking for an Intern: HTML developer/ Web Developer

Salary: Market related

This is a company that is forever growing and has endless opportunities. We are seeking an independent html developer with the necessary qualification and skills to join our team. We’re looking for a self driven individual who is willing to go above and beyond. The position is full time and is based in Waterfall.

Job description

HTML Developer who can programme, build or create websites using Hypertext Markup Language (HTML). Developer must be able to use their skills to create text, paragraphs, attach images, give structure, and make web pages presentable and appealing. This candidate will also be responsible for developing and managing all email campaigns. You will be working with the Marketing and IT departments to constantly update and maintain our site and our database.

Requirements (in order of importance):

• Any email management platform experience

• HTML4/HTML 5 advantageous

• CSS2/CSS3.

• Javascript (basic knowledge).

• Classic ASP or ASP.net (basic knowledge).

• PHP an advantage.

• JQuery advantageous

• Photoshop or similar

Duties & Responsibilities

• Using images provided to create and style webpages and/or e-mail campaigns

• Ensuring the maintenance of our databases

• Pulling the correct email bases as and when required

• Converting images provided into buttons and banners, using HTML image maps or other.

• Creating competition pages from jpegs provided
