Intermediate QA Tester

POSITION INFO:
An established organisation is seeking an Intermediate QA Tester to support the delivery of high-quality software solutions across critical business systems. This role offers exposure to both manual testing activities and automation initiatives within an Agile development environment.

You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure software quality throughout the SDLC, contributing to test planning, execution, defect management, and continuous improvement of testing practices.

Key Responsibilities: 
-    Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases and test scenarios.
-    Support automation testing initiatives and contribute to automated test coverage where applicable.
-    Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
-    Log, track, and retest defects while providing comprehensive test evidence.
-    Participate in release readiness, production validation, and hypercare support.
-    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve software quality and testing processes.

Job Experience & Skills Required / Ideal Candidate Profile:
Education 
-    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
-    ISTQB Foundation Certification.
Experience 
-    2–5 years of software testing experience across multiple applications.
-    Proven experience in Manual Testing.
-    Exposure to Automation Testing tools and frameworks.
-    Experience working within Agile environments.
-    Experience with JIRA or similar test management tools.
-    Experience testing ERP or enterprise business applications.
-    Experience with integration and regression testing.
Skills 
-    Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC methodologies.
-    Familiarity with SQL queries for data validation.
-    Strong knowledge of test case creation, defect tracking, and quality assurance processes.
-    Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
-    Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
-    Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
-    Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
