Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Intermediate QA Engineer to join our team at Zeam. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the quality of our software products by identifying defects, conducting rigorous testing, and validating that the software functions as intended. Your contributions will be essential in maintaining high-quality standards and delivering reliable solutions that meet both user and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automated scripts to ensure robust software quality.
- Conduct functional, regression, performance, and security testing to identify and resolve defects.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and define testing needs.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, providing clear communication on issues and their resolutions.
- Review product specifications and software designs in detail to proactively identify potential concerns before testing.
- Leverage test automation tools and frameworks to streamline and enhance the efficiency of the testing process.
- Validate that the software meets customer and business requirements through thorough functional and performance testing.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and best practices to increase testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer, Software Tester, or in a similar role, with a focus on both manual and automated testing.
- Strong background in manual testing methodologies and techniques.• Extensive knowledge of various testing types, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Proficiency with software testing methodologies, tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG), and testing frameworks.
- Experience using bug tracking and project management tools, such as JIRA.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools used in Agile development environments.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to document test results and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
