Job Title: Interior Decorator

Location: Polokwane
Salary: R15 000 – R18 000

Job Duties:

• Meet with clients to understand their preferences, needs, and budgets
• Develop design concepts and themes for interior spaces
• Select colour schemes, furniture, textiles, lighting, artwork, and accessories
• Source and purchase décor items, furnishings, and materials
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and other professionals involved in projects
• Arrange and style interior spaces to achieve the desired look and feel
• Stay updated with industry trends, products, and innovations
• Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure timely completion
• Handle multiple projects while maintaining high quality standards

Requirements:

• Formal qualification in Interior Decorating or related field
• Proven experience as an Interior Decorator with a strong portfolio of completed projects
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong sense of style, colour, and spatial relationships
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Creativity and artistic ability
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledge of current interior design trends and materials
• Ability to work within budgets and meet deadlines
• Experience with design software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp advantageous
