Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Insurance Clerk to join our logistics team based in the East Rand. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing insurance-related documentation, claims, and reporting, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
Key Responsibilities:

• Process and manage insurance claims for goods in transit
• Liaise with insurance providers, brokers, and internal departments
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date insurance records
• Prepare monthly insurance reports and claim summaries using Excel
• Assist with policy renewals and audits
• Identify and escalate insurance-related risks or discrepancies

• Proven experience in an insurance or administrative role, preferably within the logistics industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data entry, basic reporting)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Must reside in the East Rand area
• Matric certificate (essential); a relevant diploma or certificate in insurance or logistics will be an advantage
