The purpose of this position is to provide clerical and administrative support to ensure that an effective and efficient administrative service is provided to the Insurance Brokers.

Qualification Requirements

  • Grade 12

 Experience and Skills Requirements

1 – 2 years’ related administration experience will be advantageous

  • Computer Literate in MS Office
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Planning and booking appointments for brokers 
  • Keeping up-to-date records
  • Liaising with clients
  • Receiving, directing and relaying telephone calls and queries
  • New employee document administration
  • Providing administrative assistance to the Brokers in terms of queries, uploading documents and updating database
  • Conducting MIE verifications and appropriate record keeping thereof
  • Arranging interviews and ensuring that the CV database is kept updated
  • Taking minutes during meetings
  • Compiling insurance portfolios and any other reports as required
  • Submitting insurance claims and queries
  • Maintaining an up-to-date and accurate filing system
