POSITION INFO:

Company and Job Description:

Our client is a well-established and respected player within the insurance sector, known for delivering professional, client-focused solutions and maintaining strong relationships with brokers and policyholders. With a reputation built on service excellence, accuracy, and operational efficiency, the organization continues to grow its footprint within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and allocate premium receipts and customer deposits.
Manage and maintain debtor accounts.
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations.
Investigate and resolve financial variances and discrepancies.
Prepare and distribute commission statements to brokers.
Engage with brokers regarding payments, commissions, and account queries.
Ensure accurate financial record keeping and reporting.
Assist with month-end financial processes.
Reconcile premium collections against policy records.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education:

BCom Accounting Degree.

Experience:

3-5 years' experience in an Insurance Accounting role.
Experience within the insurance industry is essential.
Proven experience with premium receipting and deposit allocations.
Strong debtor management experience.
Experience preparing broker commission statements.
Experience investigating and resolving financial variances.
Strong reconciliation experience within a high-volume environment.
