SUMMARY:
Our client in the mining industry, has an opportunity available for an Instrumentation Serviceman, to be based in the Brits area.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 with Maths and Science or N2 Process Instrumentation
  • Serviceman/Aide Certificate of Competency (Instrumentation)
  • 2-3 years relevant experience in mining environment will be advantageous

Duties:

  • Investigate, diagnose and perform related maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery according to the maintenance requirements, standards and specifications
  • Perform inspections in accordance with company standards and procedures and report all defects and breakdowns on equipment and machinery to the artisan or supervisor
  • Consult with production teams on maintenance activities that affects production
