Instructional Designer (Physcial Security - PSIRA B)

SUMMARY:
MTS is a business unit within Datacentrix is looking for an expert Instructional Designer (Physcial Security - PSIRA B) within Learning and Development environment. Must have +3 years of experience in curriculum developement in Physical Security Systems and Firearm replacement  preferabley PSIRA Certified Grade B to support high priority training needs and delivery on the physical and digital training requirement.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements

• Degree or equivalent with specialisation in a security environment
• Diploma (NQF 6) or equivalent in Human Resource Development/Occupationally Directed Education Training and Development Practices
• 3 - 5 years of experience in Security Learning and development specifically within the curriculum development environment

• Meet with internal clients to understand their training needs.
• Research industry best practices and trends in security training.
• Define clear goals and outcomes for each training initiative.
• Set up and lead working groups with subject matter experts.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure training meets industry and compliance standards.
• Design and develop engaging training materials and curriculum.
• Test training content with pilot groups and adjust as needed.
• Present the final programme to clients for approval.
• Lead “Train-the-Trainer” workshops for our L&D practitioners.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the training delivered.
