Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in high voltage industrial electrical installations and demonstrate proficiency in both three-phase and single-phase systems. As an Industrial Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high voltage industrial electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities on electrical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults and malfunctions in a timely manner.
• Utilize wireman’s license to issue Certificate of Compliance (COC) certificates.
• Demonstrate expertise in working with generators and ensuring their proper functioning.
• Execute electrical installations and repairs on various industrial machines, encompassing both three-phase and single-phase systems.
• Utilize general handyman skills for small repairs as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure safety protocols are followed and work is completed efficiently.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs performed.

Inherent Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in high voltage industrial electrical installations.
• Possession of a wireman’s license with certification to issue COC certificates.
• Master Electrician''s license would be an advantage.
• Proficiency in high voltage systems and familiarity with safety regulations.
• Experience with both three-phase and single-phase installations, including machinery.
• Expertise in fault-finding and troubleshooting electrical issues.
• Hands-on experience with generators and other industrial electrical equipment.
• Ability to perform electrical installations and repairs on various industrial machines.
• General handyman skills for small repairs as and when needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in electrical systems.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls as needed.
• Wiremans Licence and ability to issue COC certificates.
• Master eletrician license - would be an advantage.
