POSITION INFO:

INBOUND SUPERVISOR

Inherent requirements:

• Matric or relevant tertiary qualification

• 3 years’ experience in a similar management role

• Have knowledge of Warehouse Management System (WMS)

• Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans (both written and verbal)

• Computer literate (MS Office [Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook])

• Valid drivers’ license and own a reliable vehicle (the position will require extensive travelling on a monthly basis)

• Must be willing to work shifts Preferred requirements & skills:

• Ability to work in a team as well independently

• Ability to ask the right questions to assess prospective client’s requirements

• Ability to work at a fast pace and under pressure

• Ability to communicate on any level

• Must have staff management experience

• Must have good client relationship skills Duties and responsibilities:

• Ensure that the operations of the organization meet the expectations of the client

• Manage all inbound deliveries and ensure Service Level Agreements (SLA) is reached on a daily basis without fail

• Direct and manage the implementation of the business strategy

• Plan and direct the activities to achieve stated and/or agreed targets and standards for financial and trading performance, quality, culture, safety, and legislative adherence

• Contribute to the implementation of the Company’s vision and strategic plan to guide operations

• Liaise with the client on all inbound operational issues

• Identify, assess, and inform management on all internal and external issues that affect the department/business

• Conduct official correspondence on behalf of management and jointly with management as and when required

• Develop the operational plan which incorporates goals and objectives that work towards the strategic direction of the organization

• Oversee efficient and effective day-to-day operations

• Monitor the day-to-day delivery of the programs and services of the organization to maintain or improve quality

• Oversee the planning, implementation, execution, and evaluation of Ecommerce projectsDuties and responsibilities:

• Implement a performance management process for all staff which includes monitoring the performance of staff on an on-going basis and conducting an annual performance review

• Coach and mentor staff as required to improve performance

• Discipline staff where necessary using appropriate tools and techniques Character traits:
