SUMMARY:
Import and Export Sales Coordinator required for East Rand based company

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Matric 
3 - 5 years logistics / exports / imports experience 
Pastel experience advantageous 

Duties will include 
  • Liaise with suppliers for importing shipments on all matters relating to freight
  • Prepare export documentation to present to the clearing agent on export orders
  • Co-ordinate customs clearance procedures and shipments
  • Calculate quotations for outbound shipments including quote follow ups
  • Schedule bookings for shipment packing, collection and shipments
  • Processing of Sales orders on Pastel
  • Assist with inbound shipment enquiries and quotations
  • General office administration tasks, when required
  • Sales – CRM system
  • Sales – surveys – and cold calling to discuss potential requirements and discussion with potential clients
  • Liaise with shipping lines
  • Liaise with agents regarding packing and shipping documents
