Our client is seeking a professional, detail-oriented, and dedicated IVF Laboratory Assistant to join our dynamic fertility team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a strong scientific background who is passionate about reproductive science and laboratory excellence.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (BSc) in Biological Sciences, Genetics, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field.
- Fluent in both English and Afrikaans (spoken and written).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Professional, reliable, and able to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily laboratory operations and procedures.
- Prepare, maintain, and organise laboratory equipment and materials.
- Ensure laboratory records and documentation are completed accurately.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness and compliance with quality standards.
- Assist embryologists and laboratory personnel with routine laboratory tasks.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels of laboratory supplies.
- Adhere to all laboratory protocols, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
- Perform administrative duties related to laboratory processes when required.
