My client in the mining sector is looking to fill in a role of IT OM Infrastructure Analyst

Contract from January 2022 - December 2022

Start date: as soon as possible

As the ITOM Infrastructure Analyst within our OT Service Operations team, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and supporting the monitoring tools used to detect, mitigate and resolve infrastructure issues, before they happen. This includes setting up, maintaining, and continuously improving the various monitoring, visualization, alerting, and notification tools, enabling other teams to respond to incidents, as well as providing recommendations for areas of opportunity.

Qualifications & Experience

Relevant IT Qualification

ITIL v4

Familiarity with network infrastructure, network hardware, server operating systems (Windows and Linux), server hardware, and storage.

Understanding of SNMP and WMI for obtaining metrics.

Familiarity with the concepts of Event Logs and System Logs.

Ability to detect trends in data that may have been overlooked and raise them.

Ability to visualize data and apply that to create meaningful, engaging, and colorful dashboards.

Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Op Manager, SolarWinds, APC Schneider Electric
