SUMMARY:
IT Technician (Centurion)

POSITION INFO:

vMust be from food industry.

vMust be able to support, maintain, installation, configure following software and systems:

oVIP Evolution

oShopware

oServers

vPerform troubleshooting using different diagnostic techniques.

vTroubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical hardware and/or software issues.

vProvide quick resolution and excellent customer service.

vProvide needed information on IT/IS products or services.

vProvide feedback on processes and make recommendations on areas to improve.

vMaintain technical documentation and service catalogue on installation of software, configuration of hardware and problem troubleshooting.

vSuggest improvements on procedure.

vUnderstanding of POPI.

vManaging the day-to-day running our IT.

vMaintaining, supporting and developing the hardware and software of all the company’s business systems.

vWorking alongside departmental managers to train staff in their roles and find IT solutions to support and develop the goals of the company.

vProviding company directors, managers and departments with appropriate tools and information to support their roles.

vDealing with suppliers and service providers in the purchase of equipment and maintenance agreements.

vEnsuring that the IT Department team are on call on a rota basis to support the business at all times during its operation.

vEnsuring the company’s IT systems and infrastructure are secure and protected against operational and security risks.

vEnsuring the company complies with licencing
