IT Technician (Cape Town CBD) Month-to-Month Temp/Contract R11,000 – R15,000 PM

JOB DESCRIPTION:

I am seeking a young and energetic IT Technician who has a bit of programming knowledge who has experience in maintaining my clients’ computer and network systems.

This is an office-based position.

Requirements:

- Matric is essential

- Valid driver’s license and car

- Tertiary education in computer / IT support

- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role such as IT Help Desk or IT Support

- Knowledgeable in all aspects of mobile and desktop operating systems

- Proficient in networking configuration, diagnostics and maintenance

- Experience with computer and network security, firewalls, antivirus software and malware protection

- Experience with virtual network solutions, command-line interface for Windows, Mac OS, Linux and UNIX

- Programming knowledge will be highly advantageous
