IT Technician

An exciting opportunity has become available for a IT Technician to join the ranks of a successful business in PE.
The successful candidate should be able to troubleshoot and assist with software related problems on Microsoft networks.

The ideal candidate should:

• Be a well-groomed, punctual and approachable individual with excellent people-skills
• Have proven IT background and experience with desktop applications, hardware, printers, drivers and servers
• Be able to work alone or with minimal supervision
• Have good time managements skills
• Be good at problem solving, diagnosing and troubleshooting skills
• Be available with short notice

Requirements: 

• Matric
• Own transport and valid Drivers License 
• Minimum of 5 years’ working experience in a similar environment
• Network connectivity (specifically Ubiquity & Mikrotik)
• PC Hardware setup, support and Maintenance
• Good understanding of Microsoft Windows & Office 365
• Good understanding of virtual environments and VM Backups
• Good understanding of Servers, Drivers, Printers
• IP Telephone Support & IP Video surveillance
• Windows Server (Active Directory & Domain Controllers)
• Synology DS Stations
• CCTV Installation
• Good Knowledge of IQ
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Strong customer-service orientation
• Ability to adapt to change
• Willingness to learn
• Valid Driver's License 
• Must be able to work Standby

Qualifications:

• A+, N+ or MCSDT/MCSA qualifications
