IT Systems Administrator (must be Microsoft Azure certified)

SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced IT Systems Administrator with expertise in Microsoft Azure technologies, Hyper-V, Exchange, and Active Directory. As an Azure Certified professional with additional proficiency in on-premises infrastructure, you will play a pivotal role in managing our organization's hybrid cloud environment. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth operation, security, and optimal performance of both cloud-based and on-premises systems. Additionally, you will provide technical support to internal teams and contribute to the design and implementation of IT solutions.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

• Administer, monitor, and maintain on-premises systems, including Hyper-V virtualization, Exchange Servers, and Active Directory.
• Ensure seamless integration and communication between on-premises and cloud-based systems, enabling a cohesive and efficient hybrid environment.
• Implement and maintain robust security measures for Azure, Hyper-V, Exchange, and Active Directory systems, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and execute comprehensive backup and disaster recovery strategies for both cloud and on-premises infrastructure to ensure business continuity.
• Identify and resolve technical issues across the Azure, Hyper-V, Exchange, and Active Directory environments promptly, collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed.
• Ensure all systems are up to date with the latest patches and updates, minimizing potential vulnerabilities and ensuring optimal performance.
• Identify opportunities for automation in Azure workflows and on-premises systems, creating scripts or solutions to streamline routine tasks and improve efficiency.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures for easy reference and knowledge sharing.
• Provide technical support to end-users and internal teams, addressing their IT-related queries and issues in a timely and professional manner.

• 3-5 years of experience in the role
• CompTIA A+
• CompTIA Network
• A valid Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate certification is mandatory to showcase proficiency in managing Azure resources and services.
• A valid Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification is required to demonstrate advanced knowledge of designing and implementing Azure solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Hyper-V virtualization technology, virtual machine management, and virtual network configuration.
• Experience in managing and maintaining Exchange Server environments, including mailbox management, email routing, and security.
• Proficiency in Active Directory administration, including user and group management, Group Policy, and domain controller management.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical concepts and collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, with a willingness to learn and stay updated on the latest Azure and IT infrastructure technologies.
• A team player who can work collaboratively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and departments.
• Windows server experience
