JOB DESCRIPTION:

Introduction

The services of a Lead: IT Security Consultant are needed for one of our prestigious.

Duties & Responsibilities

Managing projects/processes  Implements security strategies, procedures, standards, and tools necessary to enable business functionality while securing sensitive data and adhering to the organisation’s internal controls and risk guidelines

 Works with team members to analyse, plan, design, develop, and implement solutions to meet strategic, usability, performance, reliability, control, and security requirements.

 Creates and maintains internal documentation and end-user training materials as required e.g., Delivering system analysis documentation for system changes

 Update PIA, ICL, Conformity statements for all applications supported by the team

 Monitors and enforces security policies in accordance with internal governance requirements and policies on Information Security strategies, plans, and operating models

 Provides Information Security expertise and assists in incorporating control measures into new and existing infrastructure and project initiatives

 Managing the implementation of Security Optimisation processes ensuring smooth operation of solutions by acting proactively, before severe security problems occur

Desired Experience & Qualification

5-8 years experience in system security and systems analysis

 Advantageous to have Cloud architecture and reporting technology experience  Extensive experience in analysis through to implementing and monitoring solutions

 Experience in testing (manual or automated testing)

 Agile working experience advantageous

 Agile IT Product Owner experience advantageous

Compiles reports on deviations in projects relating to IT security and compliance

 Introduces regulations, changes, and innovations from IT risk and security management

 Completes and updates Protection Assessments (PIA) for final approval by main department/business)

 Checks and considers the compliance requirements in the Security Concept (i.e. from Privacy Impact Assessments)

 Identifies (technical) vulnerabilities and recognises deviations in the security and compliance environment from an early start within IT projects/products

 General programming/software development concepts (C#.Net, Angular, and Microsoft SQL) and software analytical skills(advantageous)

Generic Technical / Functional skills:

Understanding of integration between different technologies

 Coordination between development and support environments

 Assisting with the business case

 Analysis and finalisation of business requirements through Translating and simplifying requirements

 Planning and monitoring

 Eliciting requirements

 Requirements management and communication

 Document requirements in the appropriate format depending on the methodology followed

 Assist with identification and management of risks

 High competence in IT risk, security, and compliance management; Test Management & Test Analysis; Standards and methodologies (ISO 27000 series, COBIT 5, ITIL, ITSCM, etc.)

 Management of penetration tests, vulnerability scans, source code review, and Governance
