JOB DESCRIPTION:

My client is looking to fill in a role of IT Project Risk Manager

A highly skilled risk manager with experience in IT governance and risk management to deliver risk management service on the Audit Software Project (ASP) for a period of six (6) months, renewable on a needs basis.

Someone who has experience in delivery large technology project and risk management (certified).

Provide relevant role players with adequate guidance on proactively managing risks within the project

Enable oversight structures to effectively discharge their roles pertaining to project management

Ensuring that risk management processes are aligned to best practice and are adequately maintained thought the project. The risk manager will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the overall institutional risk management process by facilitating risk assessment processes (inclusive of the identification, assessment, mitigation, monitoring and reporting of the progress of implementation of mitigations agreed to as well as evaluating whether the mitigations are yielding the desired benefits. More specifically, the risk manager will be required to apply a complete and continuous risk management process across the project life-cycle as follows (amongst other risk management responsibilities within the project)
