IT Network & Desktop Support Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties & Responsibilities JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Keep updated and be knowledgeable of relevant company policies and procedures. • Act in a first tier IT Desktop Support and/ or Network Support function. • Provide on-site or remote technical assistance to employees/ managers based at various national branches. • Ensure effective solutions and assistance in terms of hardware- and software-related support and trouble-shooting; and/ or • Provide a suitable analysis and evaluation of our clients'' computer network problems to maintain/ repair secure network performance and capacity. • May be required to travel to other branches across the country. • Any ad-hoc duties, as and when required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: • Matric/ Grade 12 qualification. • A , N qualifications. • MCITP. • Valid South African driver’s license. • Good verbal and written communication skills in English. • Excellent interpersonal and influencing manner. • Proficient problem-solving and decision-making ability. • Customer-orientated and willing to go the extra mile. • Willing to work longer hours for project-specific enquiries. • Willing to travel nationally, as and when required. • Stay in the West Rand, or willing to relocate.
