Our client is looking for a hands‑on, detail‑driven IT Installer to support daily IT operations, installations, and technical maintenance. If you have strong hardware knowledge, enjoy fieldwork, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment, this role is for you!

WHAT YOU NEED

- National Senior Certificate (NQF 4)

- 3 years’ experience in an IT environment

- 2+ years’ exposure to IT hardware, network infrastructure, CCTV & fibre installation

- Comfortable working at heights

- Valid driver’s license

- Good computer skills

SKILLS REQUIRED

- LAN/WAN installation & troubleshooting

- Handling power tools

- Operation of splicing equipment

- High technical aptitude

- Continuous improvement mindset

- Proficient in hardware installation

- Understanding of fibre, CCTV & network systems

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Install, terminate & test CAT6 and fibre cabling

- Mount & connect cameras, Wi‑Fi access points, switches & network cabinets

- Diagnose & repair cabling, device & configuration faults

- Pull, route, label & secure cables according to standards

- Terminate cables in patch panels, cabinets & equipment rooms

- Maintain accurate equipment & stock records

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

- After‑hours work required (24/7 support environment)

- Must be medically fit to work in a manufacturing environment
