Job Brief
As our IT department continues to grow, we are seeking an organised and proactive individual to manage administrative responsibilities and contribute to the team's efficient operation. 
Responsibilities

• Document and prioritise IT issues submitted through the IT mailbox, assigning each request to the appropriate team member for investigation and resolution.
• Maintain audit files and documentation, ensuring all records are accurate, complete, and up to date.
• Organise and file all departmental documentation and correspondence in accordance with established procedures.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the IT department and third-party contractors, following up on logged issues and providing timely feedback to relevant stakeholders.
• Engage with department heads, branch managers and Online Sales customers to verify issue resolution, ensuring a high standard of service, and communicate outcomes to the IT Manager.

POSITION INFO:
Ideal Requirements for the Perfect Candidate 

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2–3 years' experience in an administrative, coordination, or customer service role.
• Experience working within an IT department or IT support environment will be advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Professional and customer-focused approach when dealing with internal and external stakeholders.

• Experience with helpdesk or ticketing systems.
• Understanding of basic IT terminology and support processes.
• Ability to coordinate and follow up on multiple support requests simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with employees, customers, and third-party service providers.
