SUMMARY:
Our client requires a candidate with strong administrative skills to join their production and planning team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 / equivalent

Experience and Requirements:

  • 2-3 years’ experience as an Administrator within the steel or engineering industry is essential
  • Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
  • Computer literate: Ms Office / Advanced skilled on Ms Excel (spreadsheets & formula’s)
  • Non – smoker
  • Reside in Alberton / Surrounding areas
  • Have reliable transport
  • A stable work record and contactable references
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Creating of orders when necessary
  • Forward signed orders to Receiving Clerk
  • Obtain Costings for purchase orders, import and local
  • Generate / Check and capture costed GRV’s
  • Communicate with transporters regarding deliveries
  • Communicate with Accounts, Planning, Receiving and Sales Departments on arrival of material
  • Update monthly KPI’s
  • Various Reports
