SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a strong steel trader with recent working experience in the wholesale and retail mild steel industry (steel sections, sheets, coils, plate, and tube)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

*Candidates who have experience in other industries will not be considered for the position*

Qualifications:

Grade 12 / equivalent

Experience and Requirements:

3 or more years’ experience trading of mild steel products (steel sections, sheets, coils, plate, and tube)
Computer literate
Must be bilingual in English and Afrikaans
Able to close deals
Meet and exceed sales targets
Good telephone and communication skills
Reside in Witbank / surrounding areas
Reliable transport
A stable work record and have contactable references
Able to work retail hours

Duties and Responsibilities:

Interact daily with Customers telephonically
Build and maintain relationships with customers
Assist Customers with their selections
Process and follow up on orders
Cold call for new business
