IC Payments Clerk (Foreign Payments)

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Temporary IC Payments Clerk to assist in the preparation of supporting documentation for foreign intercompany payments related to imports. This role is essential in ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial documentation and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. The duration of this temporary assignment is 12 months.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare documentation packs for foreign intercompany payments.
• Match tax invoices with corresponding commercial invoices and customs documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of invoice preparation and payment status.
• Liaise with the Logistics team to resolve document discrepancies.
• Follow up on all discrepancies to ensure payment readiness.
• Ensure all activities comply with applicable business operation laws and regulations (if applicable).
• Support or manage relevant structures and processes within the area of responsibility (if applicable).
• Ensure proper flow of communication and implementation of organizational policies (if applicable).
• Oversee subordinates and staff performance as required (if applicable).
• Define roles and responsibilities for team members, where relevant (if applicable).

Experience:

• Prior experience in an Administrative or Finance team (advantageous).
• Knowledge of customs documentation and foreign payment procedures (advantageous).
