POSITION INFO:

Secure your future within a manufacturing company based in Gauteng, the client is currently looking for the HR Manager /Payroll to join their fast passed manufacturing plant based in Johannesburg 

Minimum requirements to perform the ROLE

• Responsibility for confirming and processing all statutory deductions e.g. PAYE, UIF, etc. in line with the necessary parameters for each employee.
• Receive consolidated leave data, loan applications, overtime and ensure correct capture into the system.
• Responsible for the full wages and salary payroll runs.
• Resolve wage and salaries queries.
• Ensure EE compliance: Submit required legislative reports.
• Ensure understanding and compliance to Basic Conditions of Employment Act.
• Drive and coordinate information from managers and compile training plans.
• Compile HR budget.
• Track budget and ensure there are no budget deviations.
• Action administration and coordination of increases.
• Liaise with unions, attend meetings (all union activities)
• Compile monthly head count records and presentations to CEO and COO and present finds to the CEO
• Compile HR reporting as per requirement.
• Ensure all employees understand policies and procedures and adhere to them.
• Maintain policies and procedures and amend according to changes in laws.
•  Ensure all managers adhere to disciplinary policies and procedures.
• Manage and coordinate disciplinary enquiries and grievances enquiries.
• Ensure compliance to all disciplinary and grievance processes.
• Represent the organization at the CCMA.
• Draft job specifications/job adverts.
• Ensure everyone is on the right occupational level.
• Manage the Employment Equity Plan and ensure sub minimums are met with regards to Management Control and Skills Development
• Update and maintain all BBBEE tools.
• Liaise with external auditors and provide required information.
• Ensure business/HR processes (e.g. Recruitment) align and to BBBEE strategy
• Liaising with SETA regarding all required submissions.
• Manage and coordinate all discretionary grant programmes from inception to completion and ensure adherence to the training budget and Employment Equity targets.
• Apply for funding as per training budget.
• Responsible for coordinating all training in the organization, mandatory and performance based.
• Manage succession planning of the organization.
