Housekeeping Supervisor

SUMMARY:
Luxury Game Lodge based close to Vaalwater is looking for a highly organised, friendly, and service driven Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency across the lodge facilities.

POSITION INFO:
Duties:
 
Oversee daily housekeeping operations and staff performance.
Recruit, train, and motivate housekeeping staff.
Conduct inspections of rooms, public areas, and facilities to maintain quality standards.
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linen, and equipment.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Provide excellent guest service and promptly address requests.
Report maintenance issues and maintain accurate records.
Regular interaction with guests, suppliers, trainers, and internal teams.
 
Requirements:
 
Proven experience in a supervisory or senior housekeeping role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Proficiency in commercial cleaning techniques.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Computer literacy (MS Word & Excel).
Physical stamina to perform inspections and supervise operations.
Valid Code 08 (or higher) driver’s license.
Flexible hours aligned to group arrivals, departures, and training schedules.
High on-site presence required.
