Housekeeper / Massage Therapist

SUMMARY:
Intimate Safari Lodge based close to Vaalwater is looking for a Housekeeper / Massage Therapist, this is a dual role where the suitable candidate performs professional massage therapy and also assists with general housekeeping and spa attendant duties.

In this role, we’re looking for a qualified massage able to assist in housekeeping when not providing treatments or when guest occupancy is low.

POSITION INFO:
Duties:
 
Delivering a range of professional massage treatments (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone) to guests.
Maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the spa area, including changing linens and managing product stock.
Assisting the general housekeeping or interior team with cleaning guest rooms, laundry, and general upkeep of common areas.
Welcoming guests, handling spa bookings, and providing information on treatments and products.
 
Requirements:
 
Grade 12
At least 2+ years’ experience in a lodge-based position
Flexible and able to assist with spa therapies & housekeeping
Trained, certified massage therapist qualified
Familiar with cleaning and housekeeping duties such as general tidiness, hygiene and sanitation
