Housekeeper

SUMMARY:
Responsible for carrying out a range of cleaning activities to maintain health and safety standards at all times three times a week at the Port Elizabeth center.

POSITION INFO:

Clean the premises:

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them Report violation of company rules and regulations (e.g. playing of loud music in parking areas.)
• Gather and empty trash
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Damp dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment daily
• Clean toilets with toilet brush and chemicals
• Scrub stains, mold, and mildew from surfaces
• Wash dishes and put dishes away in cupboards
• Throw out expired food in fridge.
• Wipe down appliances

Control Stock:

• Request supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
• Stock kitchens with groceries and condiments
• Stock bathrooms

Ad Hock Tasks:

• Stand in for receptionist when required
• Clear meeting rooms

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• Matric
• 1 Year corporate cleaning experience

• Communication skills
• Good time management skills
• Good listening skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good computer skills
