Oversee the smooth operations of food and beverage dinner service

POSITION INFO:

The President Hotel is seeking an energetic and experienced Restaurant Manager from luxury hotels or restaurants to lead the operations of our dinner service restaurant.

This hands-on leadership role calls for a hospitality professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, inspires their team through example, and consistently delivers memorable guest experiences. You’ll oversee daily operations, uphold service excellence, and ensure that every guest interaction reflects the warmth, style, and sophistication of The President Hotel.

Qualifications and Experience

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Hospitality Management qualification advantageous
• Minimum 3 years’ experience within luxury 4- or 5-star hotels or upscale restaurants as a Restaurant Manager or Outlet Manager. (Essential)
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Proficiency in Micros Simphony, Opera, and Dineplan
• Proven financial acumen and experience with budgeting, cost control, and reporting
• Ability to perform under pressure and deliver consistent excellence during peak service times

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all Food & Beverage operations across the dinner service restaurant, ensuring smooth, efficient, and guest-focused service.
• Champion authentic hospitality by being visible on the floor, engaging with guests, and anticipating their needs with professionalism and warmth.
• Oversee staffing, training, and scheduling to maintain a motivated and service-driven team culture.
• Drive revenue and profitability through effective planning, budgeting, and cost control.
• Manage stock levels, supplier relationships, and ordering processes to support consistent quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Food & Beverage leadership to enhance service delivery, and presentation standards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations across all outlets.
