Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Front Office Manager with exceptional knowledge of OPERA to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hotel operations, with a specific emphasis on front office management. This individual will assist the Front Office Manager in overseeing all aspects of the front desk operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences from check-in to check-out.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Rooms Division Manager in daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and training of front desk associates.
- Supervise the front desk team to ensure efficient and professional guest service delivery.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and effective manner, striving for guest satisfaction at all times.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to front desk activities, including occupancy, revenue, and guest feedback.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to address guest needs and resolve issues promptly.
- Oversee the check-in/check-out process, including room assignments, billing, and payment processing.
- Monitor and enforce hotel policies and procedures to ensure compliance and uphold standards of quality and service.
- Assist in implementing strategies to maximize room revenue and occupancy levels, including upselling and cross-selling techniques.
- Participate in the recruitment and selection of front office staff, conducting interviews and providing input on hiring decisions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in hospitality management, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
- Minimum of [5] years of experience in hotel front office operations, with at least [3] years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in hotel management software systems, such as Opera or Fidelio.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to guest service.
- Knowledge of revenue management principles and experience in maximizing room revenue.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
