Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements, balancing table availability with guest requests.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus, ensuring they are comfortable and satisfied with their seating.
- Monitor the dining room and communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Manage waitlists during busy periods and keep guests informed of estimated wait times.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns efficiently and professionally.
- Assist with phone reservations, special requests, and handling takeaway orders when necessary.
- Keep the front-of-house area clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Support other front-of-house team members when required, especially during peak hours.
Qualifications:- Previous experience in a hostess or customer service role is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, friendly demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
